The discrepancies in access to digital tools severely affect the agents’ outreach capabilities, particularly in less accessible communities.
This grant seeks to develop and implement digital tools and resources aimed at enhancing the capacity of extension agents in Arkansas. By providing agents with mobile applications and platforms to access data, training materials, and communication tools, the initiative will streamline service delivery. This effort will better equip agents to serve farmers and, in turn, improve the overall effectiveness of agricultural education across the state.
